Meeting With an Attorney

What to Expect: Meeting With the Lawyers at Tyler & Peery

Initial consultations at the Law Offices of Tyler & Peery are free and confidential. We will not ask you for money and you are under no obligation to hire us as your lawyers. Most of our clients do hire us after meeting with our attorneys, however. Our law firm has four attorneys who are Personal Injury Specialists certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. This extensive experience sets our San Antonio law firm apart.

We understand that your personal injuries may make it difficult to get around. If needed, your consultation can occur in your home, your parents' home, a nursing home or a hospital — wherever you will be the most comfortable. Evening and weekend appointments are also available for your convenience.

Confidentiality: Your Privacy is Important to Us

Your conversation with us is confidential. Without your permission, we will not tell anyone you came to see us and we will not reveal any of the information you give us about how the accident occurred.

We will probably begin the conversation by telling you a bit about our law firm and our credentials. We will also talk with you about your accident, your personal injury and how it occurred and how it affected you. Our lawyers may ask that you bring in correspondence you've received from witnesses, insurance companies and other parties. This is so we can gain a complete picture of your situation.

We will also answer your questions so that you know exactly what to expect throughout the process. We can give you some idea of the following:

If you like what you hear and would like to work with us on your personal injury lawsuit, you may choose to retain us as your attorneys. At that point, we will ask you to sign a representation agreement. We may also ask you to sign some releases that allow us to collect information about your case on your behalf.
