Texas motor vehicle accident leaves a child dead

Many times, when one talks about car accidents, he or she is referring to collisions that occur on the roadway. However, a motor vehicle accident can take place in a variety of locations. Some crashes even involve cars wrecking into houses or stores. One Texas accident shows that parking lots can be just as dangerous for drivers and pedestrians as being on the road.

In a strip mall's parking lot, a 3-year-old lost his life in a car accident. A car rammed into this little boy, but did not kill him on impact. After being transported to a nearby hospital, the child was declared to be dead. The fatal automobile collision occurred on a Friday afternoon.

The woman responsible for the car accident fled the scene at first, but she later returned. Officials do not believe that she was intoxicated at the time of the crash. After some questioning, the driver was released, and no charges were filed. Authorities continue to look into the causes and factors involved in this collision.

A fatal motor vehicle accident is always devastating, yet it happens far too often. The collision in Texas took the life of a 3-year-old child who had not yet had the opportunity to experience life. Although no charges have been filed against the woman responsible for the accident, the little boy's family can file civil claims for wrongful death against the driver. Nothing can bring back the child they only got to know for a short time, but a successful claim could assist them with the unexpected costs associated with their heartbreaking loss.
