Commercial Trucking Accidents

During many of our investigations involving commercial trucks such as 18 wheelers, we find that the Trucking company, its investigators, insurance adjusters, and even its attorneys are sometimes present at the scene of the accident within minutes or hours of the collision. They attempt to influence the police officer and the evidence at the scene in a way that reflects more favorably on the trucking company and its driver. In many cases, it is several weeks or months later before the injured victim and his/her family is able to consult an attorney for help. It is important that your attorneys get started on an investigation as soon as possible so that evidence can be preserved while memories are still fresh. If necessary, we will seek an injunction to preserve the evidence including the all vehicles involved. Preservation of evidence is critical to making sure that an accident reconstruction is complete and accurate.
