Texas DPS Publishes Name of Man Killed in Midland Truck Accident
According to the Odessa American, the Texas Department of Public Safety has released the names of two men involved in a fatal Midland truck accident, which happened yesterday, and resulted in one death.
Yesterday evening a truck towing a tanker trailer was heading west, about to turn south, when a man in a pickup truck heading east collided with the tow truck. The tow truck driver survived, but the man in the pickup did not. As is often the case, the person in the bigger vehicle (the driver towing the tanker trailer, in this case) survived the wreck.
No known traffic citations were issued by Texas DPS as a result of the truck crash, according to the Odessa American, though it's still early to say there won't be.
Our law firm focuses on personal injury cases from truck accidents, especially those that happen in South Texas. With oil and gas development on the Eagle Ford Shale, there has been a huge increase in trucking traffic, which causes more accidents.
