Accident involves FedEx truck and metro bus

The Huffington Post reports that “multiple” passengers were hurt when a bus and a FedEx truck hit each other – apparently the FedEx driver was in a hurry because he ran a red light and caused the truck wreck.

There were more than 20 people who were injured in this wreck. According to the Huffington Post report, one passenger was offloaded through a window on a stretcher, and another was seen being strapped to a backboard.

“People were flying everywhere,” said one passenger.

As often happens in collisions involving a large vehicle – like those between a big rig and a car, for instance – the truck driver generally is not as injured as those in the smaller vehicle.

In this case, the FedEx driver was not hurt.
