About the Super Lawyers Process
Attorneys must go through a four-step process to be selected as a Super Lawyer. The process includes peer nominations, independent research, peer evaluations, and final selections. Attorneys cannot nominate themselves, nor can they campaign for nominations. During the independent research process, Super Lawyers evaluates nominees based on 12 factors of professional distinction, including: verdicts and settlements, years of experience, and other accomplishments. The top-scoring nominees then rate their peers in the same practice area, and the highest scoring lawyers from these three steps are selected to the prestigious Super Lawyers list.
