Texas Tort Claims Act Attorneys

The Texas Tort Claims Act is a set of statutes that determines when the government may be held responsible for a personal injury. Before the act was put in place, it was not possible to successfully sue state or local governments. However, the act does place limits on liability so that municipalities can only be responsible for a limited amount of monetary damages. These limits vary based on the specific factors involved in a case and what government entity is involved.
